Desh Premee is a 1982 Hindi movie directed by Manmohan Desai. Amitabh Bachchan (Master Dinanath/Raju),Hema Malini (Bharati), Parveen Babi (Priti), Shammi Kapoor, Prem Chopra and Kader Khan (Sher Singh) acted in this movie. The movie is based on freedom fighter Master Dinanath who fought for independence in 1947 however, after independence people’s love for country diminished and people started betraying each other. Thakur Pratabsingh is one of them and was involved in illegal activities whom Masterji caught and gets him arrested. Thakur took revenge and kidnapped his wife Bharati and daughter Priti with the help of Sher Singh. After which story tells how Master Dinanath fought with the situation.
