Hamrahi is a 1963 movie directed by Tatineni Prakash Rao starring Rajendra Kumar (Shekhar), Jamuna (Sharda), Mehmood (Mahesh), Shubha Khote (Shanti), Shashikala (Hema) and Agha. The movie is based on the story of selfish Shekhar who disregards his relationship with Sharda however, lately marries her but Sharda hates his behaviour. Moreover she contracts pneumonia that grants an opportunity to Shekhar to win her heart. However, an encounter with an old flame lands him in jail and Shekhar finds himself facing his father across a courtroom, charged with murder.
