Ek Naya Rishta, released in the year 1988 the movie was directed by Vinod Pandey with actors like Rekha (Aarti), Raj Kiran (Rajiv), Mazhar Khan (Sanjay), Om Shivpuri (Shankardayal) and Helena Luke (Ruby). The movie is about an alcoholic son Rajiv whose dad Shankardayal writes a will wherein property would go to Rajiv only if he has a son within 18 months of his death. The story revolves around his tantrums to inherit the property without getting married and having son with a call girl Aarti.
