Coolie is best remembered as the film in which Amitabh Bachchan met with a serious accident sustained during a fight scene that caused him internal bleeding. The movie holds story of young Iqbal who hot separated by his mother and brother via flood, while he lands Mumbai and becomes Coolie at railway station. Iqbal fights for the rights of all the Coolies against a businessman Zafar Khan who kept his family away for years.
