A young Contemporary artist, Dhaneshwar Shah is one of the very few artists to have earned wide recognition and acclaims at a young age. Winner of several residencies, as well as entering into auctions at a young age, Dhaneshwar’s works are a result of his influence and fascination of Indian Folk and Tribal Art, Aborginal Art from Australia and Tanzanian Tinga- Tinga Art. Unlike typical contemporary artists, Shah moves away from urban centric artworks and engages with animal forms and nature, buzzing with life and colour.
